How can you make your spoken task mesmerising?

The spoken task means to speak in front of people to give information or express ideas and feelings which can be helpful to the audience and speaker as well. The spoken task can influence a person to an extent that can change his/her views on any topic. It can even bring a huge difference in one’s life and make their journey of life much easier than never before and all the influencing ability is in the hands of the person who is giving it.

So, to bring a change in someone’s life or in other words influence people, the narrator should have the ability and power to mesmerize the audience by the spoken task. So, if you are also interested in contributing to someone’s life for a good cause by giving a mesmerizing spoken task then you should definitely inherit the following ways-

1. To have connectivity:
While performing your task connect yourself with the audience, so that they would listen to you carefully and would try to understand and implement it in their life. This can be done by taking examples and talking about what you have experienced. Always try to have suspense in the performance so the audience would be more curious to listen.

2. Use different props in your task:
To make it more mesmerizing, try to use different things related to the topic that would help the audience to understand well. As it would be more remarkable and useful in the real situation. To express your ideas and yourself in a bit better manner by enhancing your performance by using the following things:

3. Be specific and clear:
A performance should make each and every one ponders upon the idea that was spoken. This can be done by being specific at your task, by being exact, clear, fix but not talking about inappropriate topics which makes the audience move their focus from the main idea or point. You must be clear at your words, must pronounce them well so that it would be understandable for all. This will help them not to get confused among different things but focus on the main.

4. Practice for your task:
As it is said, “practice makes a man perfect”. So, we must practice hard and give our best for our task. Take a task not as a burden but as an opportunity to express your idea for a better future. Take it as the last opportunity of your life and you have to make something productive out of it. This can be done but only by practicing it in front of the mirror, recording it, and making velfie. The practice is the only thing that makes everything perfect because it contains hard work, desire, determination, and long effects. So, ‘PRACTICE’ ‘PRACTICE’, and ‘PRACTICE’.

5. Use stories:
According to human psychology, one’s mind catches stories fast. So, one should try to speak and explain ideas. It should be used as a medium to explain your ideas. Then stories can be based on real life. It can be written as a real story that affects or interact more with the audience, as they can connect it with their life. How are they doing? what mistakes are done by them? How can they correct it? and many more. They try to have a little sense of realization which helps a lot to make a better tomorrow.

6. Focus on minutes:
Most of the spoken tasks are of about 15-20minutes. Try to focus on every single minute of the task which adds value to your task. As one pearl adds with other pearls to make a beautiful necklace. As Bruce Lee said, “practice and focus on one move for 1000 times instead of practicing 1000 moves for one time”. Like that single minute may decide how was your performance because it may change in a good and attractive way or in a bad and dissatisfied way. Try to use every minute as every petal of a flower that when comes together makes a spectacular flower.

7. Presentable performance:
Performance should be presented in front of the audience in a good manner. Your fear, lack of confidence should not take up the performance. Your gestures of the hand, your body language should be good at the time of speaking. You should try to be rather confident. Performance can be made presentable by making it: -
• Authentic to listen
• Easy to understand
• Real to experience
Performance can be made mesmerized by applying these things. It can make a great impact on one’s life. Your words can change one’s thoughts. It makes people cogitate about it and learn from it. It may be helpful when a similar situation takes place in their life
