The introduction is known as a way of introducing ourselves. When someone gets interviewed, then he or she has to give an introduction to self. Example: - Suppose if I get a chance to introduce myself then I would tell about myself, “Who am I, what do I do, what are my interests, what is my dream, etc.?

Those who don’t know about introduction generally think that we should know only self and parents’ names for the introduction. But it is not a proper introduction it is only a basic knowledge which all people know.

1. Only point for the effective introduction: -
Know Yourself: -
Knowing about self is the most important point for introducing ourselves. Everyone must know about the self that who are you? What do you do, what are the things that you find yourself in that?
It is really fantastic to get confidence while introducing yourself. It means that it gives you confidence. If you know about something, you can speak it confidently.

2. Some way to make introduction effective: -
Introduce yourself with identification: -
Everyone needs to have a symbol or sign for identification. Identification makes us know about a person who is she or he? Everyone tells his symbol as a name. I want to give you an example that, suppose I take a symbol as Raj to introduce, let’s know how to introduce? I can speak “My name is Raj.” But generally, some people speak, “Myself Raj.”
I want to clear your misconception that people speak wrong. Always remember that “myself Raj” is grammatically wrong. Somewhere it becomes one of the reasons for rejection in an interview.

We can speak: -
1. My name is Raj. (Average, common)
2. This is Raj. (Effective, in spoken)
3. My symbol of Identification is Raj. (Effective, in spoken and written)

We may speak our name with nicknames as well. Like, my symbol of identification is
Raj and you can call me Raju.

Age can be mentioned in many ways:-
1. I am 19 years old. (Average, common)
2. I have seen 19 years of my life. (Good enough)
3. I have seen 19 springs of life; I have stayed it with peace of 19 years. (Effective)

Tell about your parents with their occupation: -
Always remember that do not introduce your parents only by their name, introduce them with their occupation that what they are doing.
Example: - My Father’s name is Mr. Chhotu Singh and he works in the Rico industry as Weaver.
My Mother’s name is Mrs. Ganesh Kanwar and she is a tailoress cum domestic engineer. I have learned workaholic nature and honesty from my parents. They taught me good lessons in life.

Tell about Your Qualification with Your Qualities: -
Our qualities play a big role in life. And somewhere qualifications are important for the job. Quality can give us the opportunity to get a job, and we can do anything it does not matter that we don’t have a high-class degree of qualification. But if we don’t have the qualities or skills to do something then we can’t get something to do big in our life, it doesn’t matter we have any degree.

You may speak your qualifications like these points: -
1. I have completed 10th and 12th from Pratap Nagar Govt. high secondary school with 76% or Flying colors.

Tell your dream confidently:-
It is really important to tell you about our dream in the introduction. But it is also most important to speak all the things confidently.

1. Due to the bad education of the Government, I promised myself, so I have a dream to become a teacher because it has been my dream of teaching.

Somewhere we make the introduction complicated because we want to make it effective. Which we don’t speak on a daily basis but we try to speak in introduction due to the selection of words we make introduction meaningless or complicated. There is no need for all this. Practice it often, gradually you will be introducing yourself with a different confidence.
