English exams which are required to study in abroad?

If you are thinking to move in a different country for your further studies, then your admission process will require some certain language and standardised exams to go through with. You definitely shall have to clear some standardised exams as per your courses, but some language exams are also equally required to show your proficiency of English language. Here is a list of some essential language exams for different countries which you need to go through with before moving into another county for studies.
The following exams with courses are as follows: -
1. TOEFL: It stands for Test of English as a foreign language. TOEFL is required to pursue under graduation, post-graduation, MBA, MS, Medical, LAW, Certificate & Diploma programmes from another country. TOEFL is valid in US and Canada. The score of TOEFL is valid for 2 years. Education Institutes including colleges and Universities consider the latest score of TOEFL.

2. IELTS: It stands for International English language testing system. IELTS is also required to pursue under graduation, post-graduation, MBA, MS, Medical, LAW, Certificate & Diploma programmes in different country. IELTS is valid in UK, New Zealand, Australia. It assesses student’s ability on four section; listening, reading, writing, speaking. The score of IELTS is also valid for 2 years.

3. PTE: It stands for Pearson Tests of English. PTE is similar like IELTS. But PTE is having criteria to be validated into UK, Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland, including Harvard, Yale and INSEAD. It is approved by the Australian government for all visa applications for the students. The validity duration of PTE is 2 years.

4. CELPIP: It stands for Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program. The test is administered by Paragon Testing Enterprises., a subsidiary of the University of British Columbia (UBC). This test is valid exclusively for Canadian Countries. The validity duration of CELPIP is 2 years from the day of result declaration.

5. CAE or CPE: Both stand for Certificate in Advance English and Certificate in Proficiency in English respectively. Both exams are provided by Cambridge Assessment English (previously known as Cambridge English Language Assessment and University of Cambridge ESOL examination). These both exams don’t have expiry dates. They are valid forever. The validation region of these exams is UK.
