A spoken task is an activity where you present your thought regarding a topic on stage or podium. It builds our confidence. It helps us to become a confident person.

There are some instructions which would help you to prepare your spoken task:-

1. Know your topic: -
One should know about his/ her task very well before speaking. It gives you confidence. If you do not know about your task then how will you speak and what will you speak? You may take help from Google/YouTube or your guardians to know about your task. After knowing all aspects of your topic, set an example related to your task. An example will help you to explain your topic more effectively and practically.

2. Write your task: -
Writing is the most important part of learning. Whenever we write something, we remember it for a long time. One should write all the things that he/she wants to speak because when you write 3-4 pages then you would be able to speak only 1-2 pages. It happens with all so do not take tension.

3. Do not mug-up: -
Generally, students choose unnecessary vocabulary, because they want to impress the teacher, and their friends and they start to mug up for the spoken task. But they don’t know that they are mugging-up. Don’t do this because if you would do this, then you would forget and would not be able to speak correctly.

4. Make a Cue-card: -
Cue-card: - Cue-cards are known as small note cards where we write some hints of our spoken task which help us to speak correctly. Speakers use it for remembering what they have to say.
One should make a cue-card because it helps us in speaking. If we forget something then it helps us for reminding our material.

5. Make a velfie: -
One should make self-video to increase confidence and give an effective spoken task. By that, we will be able to know our mistakes and reform them. We can reform our body language and it helps us to make a habit of eye contact. It makes you confident.

For the beginners, it is necessary to know all those things which may help in giving the spoken task.
If one knows the topic of the spoken task then he or she would get the opportunity to prepare the topic. And writing skill makes him or her specific than others and the practice makes him/her perfect in all things. Practice does not let them mug up. Because of it, he or she does not take tension for the spoken task. He/she always considers spoken tasks as opportunities. If one uses a cue-card for the spoken task then he would get benefits from it. Hopefully, all points would help you.
